The objective of the Grosse Pointe Sail Club website is to advance the sport of sailing, promote the organization within the community and provide information to the club’s members.

• The information posted on the website must agree with the club’s credo:

To encourage and promote sailing, boating, racing, safe navigation and good seamanship; to foster good sportsmanship and competition in sail racing; and to encourage camaraderie and fraternity among persons interested in sailing and boating.

• Address and/or phone information of individual members will not be placed on the website unless that person gives their approval.

• Hyperlinks will only be created to sites that promote the sport of sailing or benefit the club.

• The Grosse Pointe Sail Club Board must approve any links to for-profit entities.

• Data to be included on the website shall be submitted in an electronic format.

• A Terms of Use disclaimer statement must be linked to the homepage.

• The information presented on the website shall be appropriate for children as well as adults.
